Health Management

Health sector gains importance with the increase in world population and differentiation of the needs across the world. This nature of the sector brings about the need to bring the costs down to an optimal level, to increase the productivity and to promote the customers’ satisfaction. On the other hand, the gradual increase in the number of private health institutions in the health sector brings with itself the restructuring of the working processes depending on competition. At this point, employment of qualified personnel is of much importance. The basic purpose of the Department of Health Management at Nisantasi University is to train “health managers” who have a vision and openness to innovation, who can transfer the newly-acquired information into work processes and who have the qualifications required by the sector.
