The Department of Management Information Systems emerged from the need to support the decision-making process in management by gathering information from different perspectives and being able to view a subject as a whole. The aim of the Department of Management Information Systems is to train individuals with the information technology and business knowledge needed to both develop and manage information systems within businesses.
In today's modern business world, which relies heavily on information technologies, our graduates are able to take on any type of management position and will excel at meeting the needs of fields such as e-commerce, decision-making systems, and software development. Graduates can take on roles in the IT centers, system development units, project development departments, software companies, and consultancy firms of both private and public organizations across every sector.,
Our graduates from the Department of Management Information Systems can take on roles such as Network Administrator, Systems Designer, Software Developer, Web Design Specialist, Computer Programmer, and similar positions. In addition, our graduates carry out their duties in various positions across many fields, such as Expert Systems, Data Mining, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Enterprise Resource Planning, Information Management Systems, Production Management, Management and Organization, Marketing, E-Commerce, and Cloud Systems.
About the Courses
Information technology-based systems are developing al over the world and are present in every area of life. To this end, the courses in our department are planned to ensure that students achieve an adequate level of foreign language and computer knowledge. In the Department of Management Information Systems, in addition to mandatory and elective courses, importance is also given to education in English. Through various programming and software courses, individuals will gain substantial knowledge in information technology and will benefit from internship and on-the-job training opportunities to gain experience in the sector.
